We drove to Ponte Vedra Beach for the day to join the rest of the Fazenbaker/Norenberg/Garcia clan (plus cousin Charlie) for Felix’s first Christmas. He was a little overwhelmed at times by all of the attention from his five cousins, but for the most part he had a fun day opening presents (a.k.a. crinkling paper) and being passed around. He also finally got to meet uncle Eric – the last immediate family member who hadn’t seen him yet. Merry Christmas!
Felix has finally discovered his feet! Now he’ll grab onto them when he’s laying on his back – especially on the changing table. Sometimes he doesn’t seem to know where they went to when he has socks on, but they’re definitely up in the air if he’s got bare feet!
There’s some feet grabbin’ in this video…but it’s mostly cute baby squealing:
Felix is just about too big for the infant tub. It’s amazing to compare how much he’s grown since his first bath in it!
Felix was kind enough to let us grab a beer and catch up with some friends at the local brewery after work one night. He likes to be in the carrier with dad and was very well behaved. Lots of shiny things to look at!
Felix is definitely loving the rice cereal! This video was taken on Felix’s 3rd try with solids…he is so much more excited compared to the first attempt. He is so funny, leaning over with his mouth wide open…he has figured out how that spoon works real quick.
A mom I met through the hospital postpartum lunches (whose husband works for the same company as Greg, coincidentally) hosted a fun potluck baby holiday party. After lunch we got together for some chaotic group photos…moms first, then dads.
