Felix’s first Halloween!

Cute 'lil pumpkin

Waiting for trick or treaters...

Since we already had a cute jack 'o lantern (and mom didn't have time to get a pumpkin at the store) we used a watermelon instead. We got a lot of comments on our Frankenstein!

Felix finally got a chance to meet his fourth and final grandparent, grandaddy Dean. He tried to visit earlier, but their previous trip was thwarted by hurricane Ilene.

Dean was nervous about dropping him, but he did hold Felix for a minute or two!

Felix feels like a big boy when we sit him on the couch…still working on staying upright though…

Look out below!!

Felix is starting to get chatty with us! He usually clams up when the camera is around – mostly to stare at it, not so much out of modesty – but this is a fairly good example of our conversations these days. We’re definitely getting a lot of smiles along with those coos…

Felix began daycare this week and is already learning new things….like how to sit up in a bumpo seat! He has three nice ladies to take care of him and there are seven other babies in the nursery. There’s lots to see and do there, along with his favorite way to nap – swinging in a swing.
